Rodeway Inn Middleboro - Plymouth

The staff were friendly, and the beds were clean and comfortable, but this felt overpriced for what it offered. They advertise breakfast, yet none was provided, and there’s no ice machine or other extras. The bathroom door was filthy on the back, so the cleaning needs more attention. The walkway to the office was cracked and felt dangerous. They also advertise 24-hour security, though the office closes at 10:00 pm. There was quite a bit of roadside noise.

We saw a medium-sized smoking room with just a shower, no tub. It’s a quiet spot away from the noise, which I liked. There’s no pool or gym, though.

The owner was nice, the place was clean, and the bed was great. But there was a really strong mildew smell, very musty.

This motel is pretty far out in the boondocks, even though Rt. 495 is only a short drive away, and I’m definitely not a fan of MA roads or traffic circles. Still, my business partner and I would both be happy to stay here again if work brings us back to the area. Our room was very clean, with what looked like recent renovations, comfortable beds, and clean bedding. The shower got hot and had good pressure, I didn’t notice any insects, and the traffic noise was minimal. The electrical and electronic devices all worked properly. The owner and staff members we met were polite, friendly, and helpful.
