Hampton Inn & Suites Cleveland-Airport/Middleburg Heights

The room was nice and the desk staff were friendly, but the service was poor. Our beds weren't made, the trash stayed in the room, and we never got fresh towels. My wife went to ask for towels and was handed some along with trash bags and told to take the trash out herself. Breakfast was also disappointing: when we came down at 7:30 Monday morning, there were no eggs left. We stayed two nights, September 20-21, and won't be back.

After our international flight, a cancelled flight at Cleveland airport left us unable to get home, and we were upset. The receptionist noticed and offered us water and snacks. Her pleasant manner meant a lot. The hotel had a room available, with the usual good-quality Hampton rooms and breakfast.

The hot breakfast was a real highlight, with lots of tasty choices, and the kids had fun in the pool. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly throughout our stay. We appreciated being able to bring our pet, though the $75 fee felt steep to me. It does seem typical compared with other hotels.

Being just a five-minute drive from the airport made our early flight easy, and there were plenty of stores nearby. We were able to extend our stay without hassle and keep the same room, which was really convenient. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and the lobby always had hot coffee, tea, and cocoa. Breakfast was complimentary, standard but satisfying, with an omelette option most days. The rooms were clean, and we'd choose this Hampton Inn again.
