Ocean Club on Smuggler's Beach

The beach at Smugglers Beach was nearly empty in November, apart from the seagulls and sandpipers, and made for lovely walks. We’ve stayed at this resort twice around Thanksgiving, and the studio suite was comfortable and relaxing. It had a bathroom, bedroom, a small living area separated by pocket doors, and a dining space with a fully equipped efficiency kitchen, including a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. We were on the second floor, with a small balcony and superb ocean views. The room faced the parking area, as most do, but the view of the ocean more than made up for it. There’s a gym, swimming pool, lounge with activities, and a library where you can borrow video cassettes, Blu-ray discs, and DVDs to play in the room. We had two wall TVs, one in the bedroom and one in the living area, plus a Video - DVD player and a Blu-ray player. South Yarmouth is a nice town and a good base for day trips around the Cape. We had an extremely enjoyable fall trip and highly recommend the facility.

The pool and hot tub were great, and we had an amazing view from the balcony. My girlfriend and I stayed for four days, and our room was clean. There was a tic tac in a hallway window the whole time, though, so I’m not sure how clean the halls or outside windows were. Activities, including breakfast, came with an extra charge.

From the room, we could watch the sunset and wake up to the sound of the waves. The studio had an incredible ocean view, and it was a short, easy walk to the beach for morning strolls or an evening dip. Everything was spotless and comfortable, with what I needed for a relaxing stay. I especially liked the heated pool during the off-season, and parking was easy. Restaurants and local attractions were also close by, so there was plenty to do without driving far. I can’t wait to come back! 🌊🏖️

The indoor pool and hot tub were especially nice on our rainy, windy October visit. Our clean room had a kitchenette and fireplace, and it was comfortable, with a decent ocean view. It seems almost all the rooms face the ocean. The location is right on the beach, and it seems like a good spot for a couple or family. I’d stay here again.
