Riviera Beach Resort

Our two-year-old could hardly have been happier, running between the beach and the pool all day. The beach is beautiful and private, with comfortable, high-quality lounge chairs and umbrellas offered. The pool is heated and has a big shallow section where little kids can play and run around. On a rainy day, the indoor pool and hot tub were great too. The staff were kind and accommodating, the landscaping was lovely, and the property was so clean. We usually stay in Airbnbs, but tried this hotel last week so our son could enjoy it, and he had the time of his life. If you’re bringing kids who want to stay busy, this is a great choice. We can’t wait to return next year.

It was our first visit to Cape Cod and a great experience. The beach is just a few steps away, right by the Nantucket Sound, and the kids loved the pools and hot tub. Our king room with bunk beds was clean and had plenty of space for four.

We paid over $650 a night in July for a pool-view room with a king bed and bunk beds, and I’ve never felt so ripped off. For those prices, this feels like a two-star motel with five-star rates. We had to make the bunk beds ourselves, with folded sheets and blankets left at the ends. The floor was sandy from the minute we arrived. Housekeeping didn’t come daily; they emptied the trash and brought towels but didn’t sweep or make the beds. There wasn’t a microwave or closet, just a tiny hanging rod with room for maybe five items. The only cups were flimsy plastic ones, no glassware or mugs. There was a black ring around the bathtub drain. I called at 2 pm for an iron, but they said they couldn’t bring one because housekeeping wouldn’t be on site for another three hours. I can’t get over what they charge compared with what they actually provide.
