We stayed at Essenhaus with our family in the Dawdy Haus. It was lovely and cozy for the most part, and the staff were wonderfully accommodating. Management was empathetic and gracious as they tried to help with a strong odor in one room that lingered all weekend. We appreciated not being charged for room 246, and hope the maintenance team can fix the issue because it really is a lovely room. We came together to grieve and celebrate the birthday of our 8-month-old grandson, who died unexpectedly 3-4 months earlier. His birthday was June 4, so this was meant to be a very special, sacred time for our family. Management couldn't have known what we were going through. Thank you for your kindness.

We came down from Canada for business and decided to visit after someone recommended it. What a find. The atmosphere was peaceful and warm, and the friendly staff and cozy room made it feel like home. We also enjoyed the gym, pool, hot tub, and the breakfast upstairs. The trails start right from the front yard and go on for a good while. We rode our fat bikes in the snow, and the trails were groomed for winter. We honestly didn't want to leave. It felt like a dreamy, magical stay, and we'll be back.

The breakfast has lots of choices and is always delicious, and the lobby cookies are a special treat. We also love the spacious, comfortable rooms and their lovely decor at the Essnehaus Inn when we visit Shipshe. The front desk staff are consistently friendly and helpful. The TVs feel a bit small for the size of the rooms, but we'll definitely return.

We've loved coming here for years, and the breakfast buffet is top notch. Tammy at the front desk was amazing, so friendly and full of good restaurant recommendations. Samantha was also very nice, friendly, and helpful. They both made the stay better.

We were in quiet end room RM 235, and the small porch had a gorgeous view. The room was very nice, and the attention to cleanliness was easy to see. Breakfast was included and good. We'll be back.
