Sheraton Midwest City Hotel At The Reed Conf Ctr

The staff member who eventually came out to help did go out of her way to find another nearby hotel that could meet our family’s needs. We’d arrived around 5pm after a long day traveling from Atlanta, but the front desk was slow because there weren’t enough people on duty. My wife is from Oklahoma City, and we’d planned this trip well in advance. She had called weeks, maybe months, earlier to arrange adjoining rooms for our 13- and 10-year-olds. When we got there, we were told the rooms had been sold, and they wanted the kids to stay around the corner from us. The lobby carpets badly needed vacuuming, too. I’m surprised a conference center couldn’t accommodate our family. This wasn’t the Bonvoy experience I’d had at The Gaylord in Nashville. My recent stay at the JW Marriott in Indianapolis was fantastic. Marriott should look into this property and its management.

Breakfast, the room, bed and pillows were all very good, and the water temperature and pressure were great. I found this place because of its ratings, government room rate, and distance from the event venue, and was very pleased with the whole stay. Booking online was easy, check-in was quick, and I have no complaints.

The hotel looks quite nice, but the rooms are plain. There’s only a shower, no tub, and the sink area is tiny. Worst of all, there aren’t any microwaves in the rooms. How dumb is that?

Rachael makes every visit enjoyable. She’s warm, kind, and always ready to help, and I’d rank her among the best personalities across the whole brand. I’ve stayed here many times over the years for work and personal trips, and they’ve always been able to accommodate my requests. Access to the Delta lounge is a nice perk, too. Thanks, Rachael.
