Cedar Lodge by Jackson Mountain Rentals

We had a wonderful amount of space in the clean, welcoming condo, a three-bedroom place with three bathrooms. The pool was fantastic, though the hot tub wasn't working during our visit. Listening to the river all night was just perfect. Highly recommend!

For a small family, this felt like a convenient alternative to a hotel. The layout is like an apartment or hotel, with elevators, and it's close to everything. It was clean, with better quality, more square footage, bedding, and a kitchen than a hotel. I didn't like how much cleaning they expect before you leave, including taking ordinary trash to the dumpster. We were paying more than some hotels, so those requests felt a bit ridiculous. There were also too many rules, such as limits on the AC temperature, and they said there was an indoor pool when there wasn't. Those things kept it from getting five stars.

The property itself was nice, comfortable, and well located for the attractions. My booking experience was frustrating: VRBO couldn't help, then VACASA was a delight and even sent maps quest to the property. VEBO stepped in to take the booking and charged $82 more. I'll never use VRBO again. They were rude, and English was their second language, which made it hard for us to understand each other. Picture from our balcony.

We walked in and out without staying, despite having rented this three-bedroom, three-bath co do for three nights. It was obviously unclean on arrival, with stained rugs and a foul odor, and seemed run down. We reported the problems and said we wouldn't stay, then asked them to cancel the reservation. Four hours later someone came to change the sheets, but did nothing about the rugs or the rest of the bedding, which looked dirty. They refused to cancel. Don't stay here, you'll be disappointed.
