Rolling Pines Golf & Banquet Facility

We went out for a night and attended a murder mystery wedding during the covid pandemic. It was nicely set up, socially distanced, and catered very professionally.

That was my first visit, and I don’t see a reason to return. The tee boxes were mostly dirt, the bunkers had weeds and mud puddles instead of sand, and the fairways were dry and burnt. There were clumps of cut grass around the greens, too. Anyone giving this course five stars must be a local who thinks they own this shambles. If paying $30 per person on a Wednesday afternoon for a below-mediocre course with entitled locals sounds fun, this is the course for you.

I could talk about this place for hours. The staff treat you with respect, the food is amazing, and golfing here is a lot of fun. I’ve been coming almost every day with my friend reid law, and I love the feeling that golf is going to get big in the future. This may be the best place I’ve ever gone.

There’s a venue here for comedy, dinners, weddings, and other events. The course has a great layout and is fun to play, with plenty of potential. Anyone buying it will need to put serious money into rehabbing the turf, drainage, greens, landscaping, buildings, and probably all the maintenance equipment. The greens aren’t really that bad given they get no treatment beyond mowing.
