Super 8 by Wyndham Mifflinville Near Bloomsburg

The only things I liked were that it accepted pets and the shower had good pressure. I still didn’t like letting my dog walk on that floor. It was one of the dirtiest, dingiest motels I’ve stayed in: black grime covered the floor, the tub wouldn’t hold water and drained poorly, and the bed cover was thin, brown, and old. Update: I appreciate the business replying, but the tub drain wasn’t new, it was old and broken. Grime ran around, under, and behind the beds, so it wasn’t recent. I imagine the other rooms were similar. I told the staff, but they didn’t seem very interested.

It’s a good deal for the price. The front desk man was friendly and helpful, and the large lot fit my 26' UHaul without any trouble. This is a dated motel, but since I was traveling alone, the worn look didn’t bother me. My wife might feel differently. The room and bed were clean, with plenty of space, a nice sink area, strong water pressure, and a good shower head. The AC worked. The odd TV remote was a little easier than most confusing hotel remotes, and at least there weren’t 7, 654.5 channels to sort through. I’d recommend it to travelers who aren’t picky. It’s also family and handicap friendly.

The rooms were clean, and I could bring my dogs. There was a mini fridge and microwave in the room, which was a plus. Right off 80, so the location was really convenient.

This was an unplanned stop, but it was conveniently on our way, and the room turned out to be a pleasant surprise. It was very clean and modern, with good lighting, a working mini-fridge, and air conditioning. The bed was extremely comfortable. I liked having a full bathroom instead of just a vanity, with the shower and toilet in another room. Breakfast was simple: muffins, fruit, cereal, juice, and a fancy coffee machine. Clean stay and good value.
