Baymont by Wyndham Milesburg

We left less than an hour after checking in because we didn’t feel safe. The front desk said they’d charge a $500 dog fee, but that wasn’t why we left. We hadn’t used the room, dog or no dog, and I demanded a refund. They refused and told me to contact Booking. I still haven’t received the money for that night, and it feels like extortion. The place was deserted, with a dark, dingy lobby and parking lot. Our hallway carpet was torn and worn. In the room, the TV didn’t work, there was no bathroom soap, one sheet had holes, and the floor was dirty. I wish I’d read the bad reviews before booking.

The location just off the highway was convenient, and Four Ways Pub is nearby if you want to eat. We were unsure about staying after reading the reviews, but the remodeled rooms were really nice and extremely clean. The staff were polite, and we’d book here again. We added food pictures.

The price was very affordable, and breakfast was a simple free offering. The room was clean and had what I needed. There’s also an exercise room. The motel is run by a polite young man and his lovely wife, who are working on opening a restaurant there.

The walls are so thin we heard a child screaming through the night. Of the two beds, one had hairs in it, and there were two wet washcloths hanging in the bathroom. At least the carpet on the way to the rooms is thick and plush, and the location near 80 is a plus.
