John H Wallace House

We were four couples coming from PA, CT and NY, and with four bedrooms we pretty much took over the house. John and Linda welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home. We stayed in room Bella, whose open sitting area suited us well after an afternoon of sightseeing. It’s a charming, comfortable bed and breakfast, updated while keeping some original flooring and brick walls. We walked to dinner both nights, and a few sights were just a short drive away. We had a great weekend.

John even drove us to Port Jervis on the day we left, which we really appreciated. He and Linda were warm, welcoming, and knew the area well. My wife and I spent a couple of days at John and Linda’s Bed & Breakfast and had a wonderful stay. The house was spotless, our room was spacious and comfortable, and it had all the amenities we could have asked for. Breakfast was excellent, with everything delicious and homemade scones that were amazing. We wholeheartedly recommend John H Wallace House for a short stay in Milford!

We love visiting Milford PA and were glad to find John H. Wallace House Bed and Breakfast. John and Linda were welcoming and helpful while still giving us privacy. The historic house has a newly renovated, clean interior, including a nice bathroom, and keeps its old charm. The customized breakfasts were delicious, and the scones were a special treat. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance. We look forward to coming back!

Ask Linda about hiking trails. She knows lovely ones, and the couple also know all kinds of current activities in Milford and nearby. The James Room was quiet and super clean, and its enclosed porch was a nice spot for that first cup of coffee. The bathroom was ultramodern, with heated floors. Breakfast was made to order downstairs on the veranda, and John is very good at making eggs. The scones were out of this world. Wowzers, what a great Bed and Breakfast!
