Bugs crawled all over our room night and day. There was trash and large metal objects along the side of the property, which seemed hazardous to pets and children. The advertised pool was closed by the current owners “because they don’t want to be bothered with it,” there’s no guest laundry room, and breakfast was meager. Guests are only allowed two sets of towels at a time, and they count them. Management also banned my service dog from entering the office with me, in violation of ADA laws. This is a horrible excuse for a motel. I will NEVER stay here again, and I support the forced closing of this facility for safety and cleanliness reasons.

We picked this place for two days in GA to be with family for Thanksgiving. The beds were pretty comfortable, and it’s conveniently near Walmart, but cleanliness was a real problem. First I spotted a roach in the bathroom, then found four crawling on our bed sheets. We won’t stay here again.

The rates are very reasonable, and the staff are friendly and professional. It’s a quiet place with well maintained rooms and just about daily maid service. Works perfectly for business travel, and I’ll stay again on my next business trip.

I had a spacious room with a comfortable bed, though the price was a little high next to similar hotels in other small Southeastern towns. It wasn’t outrageous, but the room felt tatty, with a bare bulb and a light fixture that didn’t work properly. The place seemed short on maintenance. Noise from nearby rooms was fairly constant, though not loud enough to bother me, and it stopped at a reasonable hour. More soundproofing could help, or they could leave empty rooms between guests when possible. The curtain didn’t fully cover the large window, and the TV remote was iffy, making it hard to change channels or adjust the volume. Breakfast was a joke. There were no coffee fixings like creamer or sweetener, and the only bread was plain sliced white or wheat. Not a bagel or English muffin in sight. Why bother?
