Baxter Park Inn

The owners were so thoughtful during a busy Millinocket Marathon and Half weekend. I’m neurodivergent, and they learned my name and checked in several times to make sure I had what I needed, even with a full house. We were in town to time the race, and my coworker and I would happily stay here again. The rooms are simple and the amenities are limited, but ours was quiet, comfortable, and very clean. I’m gluten free, so I appreciated having oatmeal, bananas, and peanut butter at breakfast. And the resident cats are adorable. Their hospitality earns five stars, too. I’d recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

We planned to stay one night, checked out, then wound up needing a second night after spending a lot of time in Baxter State Park. That gave us a chance to try two rooms, and both were comfortable. The beds were comfy, too. The rooms are older but clean and well kept. It’s a family-run place with the owners on site, and the customer service was excellent. Some rooms allow pets, and the owner’s adorable cats hang around the lobby. There’s also an indoor pool and continental breakfast.

We had a nice stay and would recommend the place. The rooms were clean, and breakfast was included. Staff were friendly and helpful, with some cute kitties hanging out in the lobby. There’s a heated pool and sauna, though we didn’t get a chance to try them.

The owner came over to fix our TV right after we arrived because we couldn’t work out how to change the channel 😆. The hotel has five rescue kitties living there, which I loved. Such a wonderful place. I’d absolutely stay again if I’m in the area ❤️
