I couldn’t find a room early enough for University graduation weekend, but eventually got the four nights I needed at journeys in. I was unsure about the price at first. The rooms were clean, the location was good, and the front desk service was exceptional. It’s a no-frills place, though the ice machine actually worked, unlike at plenty of other hotels I’ve used, and the manager was very accommodating. If you don’t need a pool or other extras, it’s a great place to stay.

I’ve used this older motel for business trips for more than 20 years. The rates are reasonable, service is good, and when something goes wrong, they sort it out. There’s also a washer and dryer area for longer stays.

At $80 a night, I expected the room to be cleaned decently. There was pubic hair in the bathtub, the sheets were nasty, and the lock was broken. They didn’t clean it properly. How is the business bringing in that much money and still refusing to invest in the rooms and cleaning? Awful. This needs to improve.
