I came back because my stays in 2024 and 2025 had been good, with clean rooms, friendly staff, and reliable service. This visit on February 13, 2026 was a different story, and it has seriously shaken my trust in the property. The bathroom had clearly been missed: remnants of the previous guest’s waste were still visible in the toilet. It was revolting and a serious hygiene failure. No one should arrive to a room in that condition. I was also told I couldn’t get complimentary bottled water because I’d booked through a third-party platform. They offered paper cups and said I could fill them at the gym, or buy a bottle at the front desk. I used the same booking platform in earlier years and was given bottled water without any issue, so this felt like a disappointing drop in service. Basic cleanliness and hospitality shouldn’t depend on how a guest booked. After several positive years, I’ll have to think hard about returning.

The front desk staff were nice, but this is a fairly expensive hotel and the breakfast was awful. The omelet had no taste at all, and its texture was like a polymer membrane. I honestly couldn’t tell whether it was made with real eggs. The coffee wasn’t decent either, and there was no drinking water in the room or anywhere to refill my bottle. The HVAC seemed to be set to either cool every room or heat every room, with no way for me to change modes. It was still heating even though my room was 75. I tried opening the sliding door, but being right beside the highway made it extremely loud.

Breakfast was fantastic, and the staff were friendly throughout my work trip. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, too. One day my room wasn’t cleaned, and I never found out why. A couple of things could be better: Diamond members don’t get the traditional food credit, which was disappointing, and the water pressure was weak. The temperature is centrally controlled, so during winter you can’t turn on the AC. If the room gets warm, you have to open a window or use the balcony.

The kids had a blast, and the staff were patient and great with them. Our rooms were clean, roomy, and comfortable, and the service was amazing. Please don’t let the negative reviews put you off. I can’t think of anything bad about our stay, and we’ll book again!
