Holiday Inn & Suites Silicon Valley - Milpitas by IHG

The room itself was great, but they stick to the 3 o’clock check-in time, or later. The buffet costs $24.06, and it was the worst breakfast I’ve ever paid for. The eggs were okay and the cereal was good, but there was no bacon and the sausage smelled off. For nearly $25, I expected much better. After check-in, the staff seemed more interested in their phones than checking whether guests were okay. I won’t stay here again.

This was my first time staying in a hotel, and honestly, I’m lost for words. I came for MEPS, but I’d happily stay a whole week, maybe longer. The service was outstanding, the rooms were outstanding, and even the location looked beautiful to me. Just my opinion, but everything was outstanding.

I stay in IHG hotels at least 200 times a year and I’m a Diamond member. This has been my favorite by far. Christina is awesome and makes you feel genuinely valued. The only issue is that the ice machines don’t work, but it was still a five-star stay.

The room was really nice, but check-in was unpleasant. The woman at the desk treated me like she didn’t want me there, and it was embarrassing. I’ll come back, but if she’s the one checking me in, I’ll leave. The woman in the restaurant was rude to me too.
