The room was clean and had a good layout, and I enjoyed the food and drinks at the bar. The only downside was that the TV service was out. We were there over Super Bowl weekend and couldn’t watch the game in our room.

We booked a single King room at a great price. It was clean and spacious, with a huge bathroom and a wonderfully comfortable bed. The hotel is well located, a short drive from Potawatomi, the Milwaukee Public Museum, restaurants, and stores. It’s also right across from The Rave. We used the hotel’s FREE shuttle to Potawatomi and will definitely return. On our last-minute trip to Milwaukee, the welcome started with friendly, smiling shuttle staff. The Art Deco lobby was stunning, and the staff member who checked us in was cheerful and helpful. Everyone we met, from the driver and front desk to the bartender, was attentive and friendly. It really did feel like “Milwaukee’s friendliest hotel”!

The room was so uncomfortable that we left in the middle of the night. For what the hotel advertises and charges as a four-star stay, it felt more like a motel. We’d appreciate a chance to discuss it directly with management, and hope they take this seriously and address the problems. My girlfriend and I stayed at the Ambassador Hotel in Milwaukee last night. The staff were friendly and the restaurants were very good, but our spa room was in terrible condition. There was visible mold around the spa tub, glitter on the couches and chairs, and a suspicious white stain on the floor. The room smelled musty with a noticeable cigarette odor. The carpet and furniture were old and worn, and the bathroom was tiny and dated. The room didn’t come close to the standard advertised or the price we paid.

This was my third stay, and the first time I’ve ever reviewed a place. The staff are top notch, the shuttle service is awesome, and you’re about ten minutes from everything. Room service is a standout, with great food at a great price. The place is awesome, and I highly recommend it. My complaints are minor, and I had to dig for them. I wouldn’t take a late-night walk around the neighborhood, though daytime is fine. I’d like a suite with a separate TV room since I wake up way before my wife. The fridge is small, so bring a cooler.
