Landing Apartments at Mayfair Collection

The facilities are nice, most residents are pleasant, and Synergy’s maintenance team is amazing. I’ve lived here for several years, though, and understand the complaints about management, especially Justice. He comes across as ego driven and above the people he’s meant to deal with. Most property managers I’ve met are welcoming and kind, which makes the contrast noticeable. I think he’d be better suited to a role without so much resident contact.

I moved in this month and already needed help with my washer. Guy got it sorted quickly, then checked on a few other concerns and made sure they were fully handled. The maintenance team has been really responsive so far. Thanks, Guy, I appreciate the help!

The maintenance guys are friendly, which is about the only positive I found here. Management won’t discuss residents’ concerns, and Justice at the front desk is rude. Syngery would be better off with someone else in that job. There are also monthly fees that weren’t brought up when I signed the lease. Once you add those and optional parking, you can find a nicer apartment for the money. I’d keep looking.

The building is noisy, too. The walls are thin enough that I hear toilets flushing next door, and the shared balcony and grill area echoes, so you hear people out there the whole time they’re using it. Maintenance requests can take several days instead of the expected 24 hours, and I’ve had to call the office to get someone sent over. There haven’t been any apartment updates or improvements. My one-bedroom rent went from $1550 to $1700 in two years, despite the yearly increase being described as $15, and there’s another $100 on top of the listed rent. If you want to leave but need a month-to-month lease, that costs an extra $1000 over what you already pay. It’s unreasonable. What do long-term tenants get? No incentives, just a suggestion to refer someone. No thanks.
