Potawatomi Hotel & Casino

I've been coming here since it was a bingo hall in 1993, and the casino has steadily gotten worse. The hotel rooms are a 5, the food is a 2 because its value has dropped, and the managers and cleaning staff are professional. Security is professional too, but the wait staff has gone downhill. Now you have to get your own drinks. I also can't win here. I come twice a week with at least $800, and the regular slots I play have been awful for two months. I've tried every last one and none seem to pay. That's particularly interesting. Customers around me complain too, and plenty of my friends feel the same. I think Potowatomi would rather pay fines for not paying out than pay its customers, since it may be cheaper. You should find another casino, maybe in Madison, the Dells, or Illinois. Potowatomi should be ashamed, and so should I for throwing away my money.

My company booked rooms for several of us for an event at headquarters. The rooms and service were great, and we had a good experience overall. The only issue was very low water pressure in our rooms.

The casino is large, with lots of slot machines and plenty of open table spots. There was ample parking despite the central location. We went on Sunday night with a couple of friends. There were food options, but we didn't try any. It took us a while to find the tables, ATM, and cash counters because the signs could be better. There were also few, if any, drinks offered while we were at the tables.

I don't see myself coming back unless things change. The slots felt far less rewarding than at other casinos I've visited, and the money disappeared too fast to make it fun. You can go through a couple hundred dollars without seeing a bonus, and when one does come up, the payout is often tiny. Gambling is chance, of course, but I've had better luck and a more enjoyable time playing at small local bars. This place could use more competition.
