The central air was a bit loud, and that bothered me on the first night before I got used to it. The overnight receptionist was really helpful, though. For the price, the food was genuinely excellent. Breakfast stood out most: Mark and the other staff were attentive, the selection was great, everything kept getting restocked, and all the machines worked. I’ve had included breakfasts at budget hotels around the world, and this was the best one I’ve come across in the US. The hotel itself was lovely too.

The location is perfect, though you pay for it. The hotel and amenities are fine, and the staff are friendly. Having two separate breakfast areas gives you plenty of choice. The beds weren’t comfortable, and the rooms weren’t clean. Housekeeping was well below par. The AC was bad too: the wall said 68°, but the room was still hot and stuffy. Be careful with parking. I’d find my own spot down the street.

We were in Milwaukee for Twenty One Pilots at the American Family Amphitheater, and I was pretty anxious since we’d never been to the venue or stayed in town. We walked there as a family of four, about 25 minutes each way, and felt safe. The route didn’t feel sketchy at all, so this hotel worked well for getting to the Amphitheater on foot. There’s no hotel parking lot, but valet was easy and took away the stress of finding a space. The guys there were nice and professional. You just pull into the valet area and they get you set up. The hotel was great and the front desk staff were friendly. One thing took away a star: in the morning, housekeeping in the room next door was so loud it sounded like they were vacuuming the wall. I know they had a job to do, but it was a lot.

The night staff, especially Mr. Ying, went above and beyond and helped make my night in Milwaukee one of the best I’ve had in a while. The place was extremely clean, with a gym, laundry, breakfast, and a coffee bar. They really try to accommodate what you need.
