Manderley Bed and Breakfast

As a woodworker, I loved seeing how the furniture and decor fit the character of this beautifully restored Victorian home. The rooms are all distinctive and thoughtfully decorated, and the owners were very welcoming. Such a great experience. I’m glad this place is here, and I’d choose it over a hotel next time I’m back in Milwaukee.

We were in town for a Brewers game, and this bed and breakfast was a great find. It’s close enough to walk to the ballpark, and the hosts were wonderful. The room was lovely and clean, with a dual shower head and a jacuzzi tub. Breakfast was included and really good. We had an awesome stay.

The owners were unbelievably kind, and the home is so stunning that it feels worth the price just to see it. Breakfast was adorable, and the outdoor cat was lovely too. The bed, unfortunately, was the most uncomfortable one I’ve ever slept in. If you can sleep on any surface, though, you’ll be fine!

Misleading listing. The photos show a hot tub in the room, but there isn’t one. I told the owner we’d paid much more than other places specifically because of that feature. He said the pictures were old, that they’d soon charge more for the room, and then left. Breakfast was unusual but good. The place also feels a bit run down, and the cleaning wasn’t great.
