Kings Row Inn

I should've brought a tent and sleeping bag. The toilet had been used and left unflushed, and there was blood on the seat, so they moved me to another room. Hot water barely worked, and it took 40 minutes to fill the tub. The TV wiring had been taken apart, so I had to figure it out myself. The remote was filthy and sticky, and the mini fridge was warm. I think you get the point. They also added their own gratuity to my credit card without asking. I'm not going to challenge them on it.

The location is fine and the service was friendly, but the rooms were awful. It was uncomfortably warm, the fridge and stove oven looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months, and there was a nasty smell that made my throat itch. I hope the owners revamp the place, because it isn't hospitable.

The prices seemed very reasonable, about $80 for a two-bedroom on a Friday night, and it's not far from downtown. The parking area is tiny, but on first impression this quaint inn looked tidy and free of litter. What I could see of the room also appeared clean and well managed. Just to be clear, I didn't stay overnight. If you saw the two-star rating I posted, my wallet may have had something to do with it, and I sincerely apologize.

We stay at Kings Row Inn at least twice a month, and it feels like our home away from home. It's quiet, clean, and close to all the places we like exploring on weekends. Manager Krishon takes great care of the property, and maid Tabatha does an excellent job keeping everything clean and making sure our room is just right before we arrive. Between the two of them, we feel like family and are made very welcome. We can't say enough good things about Kings Row, and we're always looking forward to coming back.
