Best Western Plus Sikeston I-55

The indoor pool was pleasantly warm, though there's no hot tub. Breakfast was the usual free spread, and my teenage daughter was excited about the banana bread waffle batter as another choice besides plain. The building and rooms feel about 20 years out of date, with cherry-colored furniture and popcorn ceilings, but everything was kept up. You can stream Netflix, Paramount, and other services on the TV. The bathroom fan was loud.

Breakfast had plenty of choices, and the yogurt machine with its many toppings and the coffee machine were especially good. We also enjoyed the pool. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the staff made us feel welcome. Check-in was fast and easy.

The location worked well for our trip, just off the freeway, with 55 and 57 about a mile south. After driving 14 hours toward Arkansas on Thanksgiving while pulling a large enclosed trailer, we stopped for the night. They were fine with our small dog. The room and bathroom were clean, and we watched football, ate, and went straight to sleep. There's a service road behind the hotel and outlets along the building, so I could plug in my truck and trailer, including the fridge and freezer inside.

The rooms are a little dated, but clean, and the bed and toilet were great. The front desk team was so friendly and helpful. Thanks for everything. I'd definitely stay again if I'm in the area.
