The neighborhood is clean and walkable, with plenty of places to eat and a scenic river path that's dog-friendly. Mall of America is a short drive away and worth a visit for shopping and its indoor theme park if you have kids and time. Parking is secure, clean, and easy, and they don't allow public event parking. This Canopy is a beautifully restored property, with welcoming shared spaces and a lively bar that has live music some nights. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was solid. Chloe, the French restaurant in the same building, isn't hotel-owned, but had good food, great service, and fair prices. Room 522 was comfortable and nice, though some things need attention. The furniture's placement and function felt off, and the mixed warmth of the lights and overly complicated switches took away from the mood. The water was soft, the shower pressure was good, and the HVAC was easy to set and worked as programmed. It offered different fan settings, with a steady sound that should suit anyone who likes sleeping with a fan. The location and amenities are strong, but the room layout and lighting need work. After Hilton replied to my original review, I wasn't convinced their sentiments were genuine since the reply was clearly AI-written. Oops.

The bar was a highlight: the bartenders were courteous, knew their drinks, and took time to chat and suggest signature cocktails. They made creative, balanced drinks, and their energy gave the place a lively feel. Check-in was just as welcoming, with friendly, attentive staff and an easy arrival. My room was spotless and well equipped, with clean linens and amenities in excellent condition. It was a comfortable place to unwind after a busy day, and I slept well. Canopy Hotel exceeded what I expected. I'd happily come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish, welcoming stay.

I felt really good staying here. The two restaurants and bar on the first floor were great, and the large lobby was beautifully designed. I got a warm welcome when I checked in, and the room was spacious with lovely pillows. Amazing hotel, highly recommend.

It's a gorgeous property and I loved being there, but the room had two major annoyances. The switches and fixtures were everywhere, confusing, and not labeled, so I couldn't figure them out all night. The toilet seats were the worst part. They're square. I initially thought they looked cool, which I guess is what whoever chose them thought too, but they clearly hadn't tried sitting on one. Using it was painfully uncomfortable for me, and my husband agreed. We're both average-sized adults. Those seats are awful and should be replaced immediately.

We had a very drunk group in a room making noise all night, and had to switch rooms. I've changed my rating from low to what the hotel itself deserves: it's a great hotel with great food. Just be aware that loud, drunk guests can be an issue behind shared walls, and that's not limited to the moxy. Maybe staff could keep some sound machines for situations like this. I stay at the moxy when noise doesn't bother me, and they have sound machines mounted on the room walls.
