The relaxed breakfast setup was great: a varied, tasty spread appears at 8, but there’s no pressure to come down on schedule or socialize before you’re ready. We arrived late Friday to a still-burning fireplace, with cookies, wine, beer, Baileys and Frangelico for hot cocoa. The Rose Room had lots of lovely little touches, and after a hot bath I slept so well in the big, comfy bed. The hot tub was awesome, the animals around the property were sweet, and the food was delicious. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to return. Thanks, Darlene.

Darlene made us feel so welcome, and the inn has a charming feel. We had a fantastic long weekend skiing, and she was a wonderful host and chef. I’d gladly come back and recommend it to friends.

Breakfast was phenomenal, though the dining table could be a little bigger. My wife and I stayed from Aug 2 through Aug 5 and really loved the experience. The atmosphere was very friendly, the room was comfortable, and there was a small fridge stocked with a beverage of our choice.

Our grandchildren especially enjoyed the animals. The rooms were comfortable and very quiet, and the farmhouse has a charming historic feel, set among looming mountains and gentle fields.

A great place to stay overnight, with a New England feel. Under new ownership, they’re getting it ready for five-star ratings, with big changes throughout.
