The only smoking option was outside by the street, which gets one out of five for Patio. For a downtown hotel, I guess that's all you can hope for, and I'm glad it wasn't winter. The water was very soft, three out of five for pH, and I'm still not sure I rinsed all the soap off. That's probably more about the local water supply than the hotel. Pantry gets five out of five: hot breakfast had a good range of choices in a large dining room with restaurant-grade furnishings. Price also gets five out of five for the value and quality. The staff were helpful and friendly throughout, and free parking is available to hotel guests in the ramp attached to the building. That makes this my go-to Minneapolis hotel. The building is huge, with the widest and longest hotel hallways I've ever seen. Our one-bedroom suite was spacious and clean. Breakfast was pretty good for a free meal, and there are lots of dining options within walking distance. I'll definitely stay again when I'm in town for an overnight event.

We've been here for two weeks, and it's been perfect for our family on a long stay. The kitchenette and laundry facilities are exactly what we need.

Booking during a sale got us a good room rate, and the location was great for reaching Target Centre and other places through the skywalks. The hotel was very clean, and breakfast was included, which was nice, though it was the usual reheated processed food and didn't taste very good. Parking cost $23 US per day. Our room was a long way from both the elevator and the parking lot, so carrying things back and forth was a hassle. A couple of things also looked like they’d been broken for a while, including the bathroom door lock and toilet paper holder.
