After four years here, I moved out and was immediately sent a huge, baseless debt to collections. I always paid rent and left the apartment spotless, but I can’t get anyone to address the charge: the phone number doesn’t work, emails go unanswered, and the website is down. It feels so unreal that I’d doubt this place existed if I hadn’t lived here. Living here was already a headache. I dealt with repeated problems with unsafe neighbors and loud music at all hours of the night. The management company and property managers never seemed to last more than six months. I’d give zero stars if I could. Stay away and save yourself the trouble.

Feeling safe at home in the city matters most to us, especially with a toddler, and Luna has given us that. Our room has a great view, too. Mitch, the new manager, is awesome and quick to respond to my questions. Luna has been our home away from home in the Philippines for a year. Finding this lovely apartment in central Minneapolis made our move easier, and my workplace, Masonic Children’s hospital, is right across the street. The amenities are clean and work well, the room sizes feel fair for the rent, and there are discounts on longer leases. The parking is enclosed, which is great in winter, and the rooms are soundproof. I love living here.

A car with a plate ending in 229 parked in my paid spot even after you said you would sort it out. I contacted the towing service, but nothing happened. What’s the point of paying for parking here? I pay for a designated space, yet lately other cars have been parking next to or in it every day. I emailed a complaint and got no response. It’s clear many vehicles aren’t paying, and there seems to be no monitoring or enforcement. Meanwhile, management keeps changing, and the current team doesn’t answer emails, making even basic issues hard to resolve. For premium rent and parking fees, this turnover, lack of communication, and poor parking control are unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend living here unless these problems are seriously addressed.

The building has had security problems, with doors not locking. A housekeeper even asked if we’d seen the guy living in the fifth-floor trash room. The office has new people now, and they are actually getting things done, after the previous management team dropped us through the cracks several times. It’s an okay apartment overall, but we won’t be renewing because it no longer meets our needs. Also, if you need the closest parking space, a two-bedroom apartment isn’t worth it.

The building is clean and new, and whenever we’ve had a maintenance issue, someone has come right away. They also do preventive maintenance in each unit every year to make sure things are safe to use. When winter weather meant we couldn’t use the rooftop for our baby’s first birthday, management offered the lobby as a venue. It worked out great, and neighbors passing by were happy to see the party. My family and I loved making Luna our home. It’s in the heart of the city, close to everything, and my job was just a two-minute walk away. People said Minneapolis wasn’t safe, but I felt secure here and never had a bad experience with management or neighbors. I’m so thankful we found this place. I ❤️LUNA.
