The bed was uncomfortable, and I slept badly during my stay. The building is showing its age, and basic things like the AC and WiFi didn't work. I told the staff, who said that's just how it is and that someone would come look, but nobody showed up. Front desk staff and management asked how the stay was, yet nobody apologized for the experience. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

The breakfast was very good, and the kitchenette had plenty in it, though we barely used it. We spent four nights and were happy with how clean the room was, including the kitchen and bathroom. Our window faced the street, but noise wasn't an issue.

The rooms are cute and come with full kitchens, though they're a bit outdated. The staff were friendly and provided amenities for our dogs. There's a nice fitness center and outdoor pool, and the hotel is close to North Loop restaurants, coffee shops, and bars. A great place in Minneapolis's North Loop district.

After more than 20 years of staying almost exclusively at Marriott hotels, this experience changed my mind about that loyalty. I had prepaid for two nonrefundable rooms and received a confirmation saying everything was set. Marriott later told me the hotel had known for months that payment hadn't gone through because the card on file was inactive, yet nobody contacted me. No email, call, or warning. At arrival, I was told payment had failed and had to fix it right away. The front desk gave me incorrect information and told me to call Marriott, even as Marriott support was calling them. Since then, I've emailed the manager four times and called four times, with no response. Mistakes happen, but letting this sit for months without contacting me and then ignoring me afterward is unacceptable. I'll take my business elsewhere.
