Blue Iguana Inn

The grounds were gorgeous, natural-looking but cared for, and felt so welcoming. Staff were friendly, helpful, and around when we needed them. Our room was comfortable, spacious, and nicely equipped. We only had one night, and I was sorry to leave that soon. The breakfast basket was a good choice. Such a gem, and we can't wait to come back.

I liked the spread-out campus feel, with buildings set apart and shared green spaces. My room faced the pool and was comfortable, and the built-in hot tub beside it was great. The front desk can get you ice if you ask. I do find it annoying when rooms have lots of things for sale, like water and candy, but that's minor.

The room and bathroom were both big, and having a microwave, fridge, and silverware was great. The pool and hot tub were a treat, and the rooftop decor and amenities had a fun vibe. It's a convenient spot, not too far from downtown Ojai, and parking was easy to figure out. Picking DVDs to take back to the room felt wonderfully nostalgic. The additional package was worth the money.

The Blue Iguana Inn surprised us in the best way, with beautiful grounds and a welcoming, private southwestern compound feel. Our clean, spacious room sat off a gravel path and had its own patio and a small kitchenette stocked with what we needed. We'd pre-ordered the continental breakfast, and it was already waiting in the room when we arrived. Generous and fresh, it felt more like a full meal than a snack. The inn is just outside downtown, reachable on a shady paved bike trail. They have bikes, though we brought our own. A friend suggested booking here, and we'd gladly return just to stay again.
