On the first night of our five-night stay, we got a call that my husband's dad had passed away and had to leave suddenly. We had paid almost 2,000 dollars and were only there for one day. We cleaned the entire place top to bottom before leaving, and it was probably cleaner than when we arrived. The owner refused to reimburse us anything. Even a future-stay credit would have been appreciated, since we didn't get to stay for half the trip and that money could have gone toward funeral expenses. The response felt very unsympathetic to what we were going through. It's discouraging that people can have so little heart. We lost a lot of money, and I hope nobody else has to go through this. We won't recommend the property or stay here again.
