We’ve stayed here for years and still love the area, but this visit has been a real disappointment. I broke my foot on July 4 and nearly canceled, but decided to buy an electric scooter and try to make the trip work. Then the elevator started failing on Friday and Saturday. My 8-year-old got trapped in it on her way to meet her older sister in the lobby. We’ve contacted guest services ever since and only heard, “We will let you know when we hear something!” Four days later, they finally put an OUT OF ORDER sign on the door. My scooter is stuck in the room, and I’ve had to climb four flights of stairs on a broken foot. The scooter has been a waste of money so far, and we’ll have to consider other vacation options next time.

The idea of this rental setup sounds really cute, and I expected service I could text, like at a hotel. But the room was so dusty and dirty that it set off my asthma and allergies. They brought an air filter and said someone would come clean, but nobody ever did. I felt sick whenever I was in the room, then started feeling better within about 30 minutes of going elsewhere on the property. I can't tell whether it's the HVAC filter, possible mold, or the thick dust you can run your fingers through. Owner rentals are clearly hit or miss. Since the resort governs the property, I thought they'd address it, but they haven't. You can't see the rooms beforehand, they're all different, and I assume comfort and cleanliness vary too. I'm here one more day and begged again for cleaning today. They assured me it would happen, but no one showed. It would've been a great value if it were clean. Feeling sick on vacation because the room is dirty makes it an awful value.
