The calm, quiet location and nice staff were definite pluses, and they did try to accommodate us when we raised problems. At $108 a night for two, the price was okay, but I doubt we'd book again unless we were in a pinch. A better hotel might be worth paying more for. Some things had a charge, while coffee, tea, and fruit infused water appeared to be free. The gym looked good and there was a business suite, though we didn't use either. The pool seemed small for a hotel this size. We had to change rooms when the first AC unit didn't work. In the second room, the bathroom had no blower or window, the sink pressure was very low, the couch was stained and torn, and the pillows had questionable stains with no protectors under the cases. When I called about the protectors, staff brought a bag with cases and protectors, but we had asked room service to put them on the pillows for us. The room service button on the phone didn't get us help, so I had to call the front desk about room problems. Towels were rough, so we changed them often, and we had only one roll of rough toilet paper for our seven day stay. The mattress was too firm and uncomfortable for both me and my fiancée. The hotel could improve how it handles these things. We also still hadn't received our $100 hold back after checking out on December 2; maybe it would take a few more days.

I had a suite with a very comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom with a barn style door. The employees were welcoming, and the hotel is lovely and well located. I paid separately for the buffet breakfast. My only concern was seeing people let their dogs lick the table by the coffee station. That wasn't Hilton's fault. I'd still recommend the place and book again.

A quiet, safe area with easy access to main roads, restaurants, and shops made this a good fit for both business and a short leisure stay. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a useful work area and reliable Wi-Fi, and housekeeping kept it spotless. I slept well after a long day. Check-in was easy, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and professional. The hotel is clean and well maintained, with a welcoming feel as soon as you walk in. Hilton Garden Inn Miramar provided consistent quality, good service, and value, and I'd happily stay again.

The location is handy, close to everything, and the rooms were clean and cozy. I found the hotel comfortable, too. Just budget for added costs: parking was $5 and breakfast $14.95, neither included in the room rate. Those extras can add up, so be prepared for them.

The check-in problem added a lot of stress when I was already physically vulnerable and still affected by anesthesia. I had booked this hotel so I could recover after planned surgery, but when I arrived right after the operation, they refused to check me in because an “unauthorized name” had been added to my reservation without my request or approval. Even with a valid booking, I got no real help or empathy. Staff handled it rigidly and asked me to pay for another night to fix an issue I hadn't caused. I expected basic accommodation and care to be straightforward in those circumstances. I can't recommend the hotel after this.
