Fairway Inn and Suites, an Ascend Collection Hotel

The jacuzzi tub was such a nice treat, and the attached bar had a great atmosphere and really good bar food. My boyfriend brought me here for a weekend away, and we booked the romance package. It was cute, and the chocolate strawberries were amazing. The room was clean, the staff were very friendly, and I’d stay here again. :)

Breakfast was the one drawback. On Sunday morning there was just one microwave for the frozen breakfast sandwiches, so it took about 20 minutes. We would have been better off eating at a restaurant. For our one-night stay, though, the price was right and the hotel was quiet. It’s around 9 to 10 miles from I43, which wasn’t a bad location. I’ll keep it in mind next time I’m going to Green Bay.

I’ve had a terrible experience at Fairway Inn every time I’ve stayed. My first visit was when a little boy drowned in the pool. The second time, the hotel was raided after people were caught selling drugs there. Somehow, my third stay was worse still. At check-in, no one came to the front desk for 35 minutes. There was nobody there when I went to check out either. I rang the buzzer several times without getting an answer, waited another half hour, then called the manager. He told me, “I’ll be there as soon as I can.” I said eight people were already waiting in line, and he hung up on me. We waited about 20 more minutes for him to arrive. He was rude when he finally showed up and acted as though we were at fault. The service and the whole experience were awful. I’d never stay here again.

We came here for my husband’s doctor appointment on Friday, but the WiFi was so bad that he couldn’t watch the Thursday night football game. We travel a lot and stay in hotels, and this was the worst stay I’ve had. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, especially families with kids.
