Quality Inn Mitchell I-90

The front desk clerk was kind and accommodating. He didn’t recognize me straightaway after just one night a week earlier, but when I brought up something we’d discussed then, he remembered me. He’s definitely in the right line of work. We traveled unexpectedly with our dog, 1,500 miles each way, and liked our first stay so much, booked randomly through Hotwire while heading west, that we chose this place again on the way back east. Both pet-friendly rooms were clean, and the dog didn’t pick up on any spots where other animals had been. The beds and bathrooms were clean too. Our room was quiet and comfortable, and the pillows were the best. On our last night, 11/30, there weren’t many guests, probably because fewer people were traveling after the holiday weekend and the weather was poor. Still, breakfast was a full offering, just in smaller quantities. We had a little trouble confirming a pet room through the online booking, so I called to be safe. Booking directly by phone got me a better rate, which I can’t remember the last time that happened. Thanks for the care and accommodation during both stays!

We stayed here two weekends in a row while visiting our son at DWU, and found the Quality Inn to be the best value among Mitchell hotels. The location is great, and the spacious rooms come with friendly, helpful staff. WiFi is excellent, the laundry and drying machines work well, and the pool and hot tub are lovely. Breakfast is good, with hot options and self-service. We’d definitely recommend it.

This was much nicer than the place we stayed the following night in Tupelo Mississippi. We’ll come back to yours, but we’ll never stay at the Tupelo Mississippi one again!

We had a great stop at the Quality Inn in Mitchell, SD. The rooms were pleasant and clean, with good beds, and the lobby was inviting and tidy. The desk attendant was efficient and friendly. Great job, QI of Mitchell!
