Rockfalls Inn & Suite

We booked a night for what we thought would be a fun, innocent birthday party with two adults and six kids or teens. The staff were rude and disrespectful, and threatened to kick us out after they made a mistake. In the pool area, the cracked flooring on the second floor and down the stairs was sharp enough to cut feet, right beside the stairs where someone could easily slip. A safety hazard and an awful experience.

The room was poorly remodeled, and we were put in a handicap room. Its walk-in shower curtain didn’t reach the floor, so water flooded the bathroom, and the countertop was loose from the side supports. They’re in the middle of changing over to a Best Western, though it was advertised as a Days Inn.

The pool area was so cold, and the water was just as cold, that we could only swim for about 30 minutes even though we had hours available. It was a waste of our money and time. We’d planned a winter staycation and booked one night after being told by phone there was an indoor pool. After hauling all our things to the room, we went down to swim. We’d also invited family from the area, and then learned we’d be charged an extra $30 for them. I hope people looking to stay here stop and find a nicer hotel.

At $111 for the night, I expected hot water in the shower. It was barely tepid, like being the last sibling to bathe when the house has a tiny water heater. A terrible rip-off.
