I’m back here, and the hot breakfast is nice. There’s plenty of parking, even for some semi’s. The staff are friendly and helpful, though I’d like to see other drink options for reward members who don’t like the purified water. The hotel is right off Interstate 76 in Sterling, CO. I’m not sure when the back section was added, or whether it’s always been there, but it seems newer, and some rooms and suites have outside access. My room was nice and super big, though the bathroom felt small despite only having a shower and toilet.

Our room was perfect for one night, and the complimentary breakfast had more than enough with a good variety. The place felt so cozy and comfortable, and walking in was refreshing. It was still decorated for the holiday season. Strongly recommend.

The beds looked neatly made and the towels were folded nicely. But there was dog food all over the room floor, and the shower drain was clogged. We figured pet hair might have caused it. I’m fine with hotels allowing pets, but they need to clean up better after guests bring them. It left us wondering what else might have been missed between stays.

I picked this place because of its name, lol. The real delight was finding they serve breakfast really early, with both waffles and bacon. I stay in lots of hotels when I travel, and the best ones have both.

4/10
The staff were friendly, but our room smelled strongly of dog pee and ammonia. The smell had worked its way into all our clothes by the time we left. It also wasn’t very clean, with dust and hair around, and the carpet felt a bit damp and sticky.
