Candlewood Suites Washington Dulles Sterling by IHG

After three months here on a work trip, it started to feel like home. Adiba would greet me when I came back after a long day, and Hassan did too. The room was comfortable, and out of the couple of hotels I’ve stayed in, I slept best here. Everything I needed was close by. I’ll stay here again next time I’m in town.

Adiba Sultani at the front desk made check-in and checkout easy, and she was always friendly, professional, and ready to help. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well organized. I had a great stay and would definitely recommend it.

Adiba is a respectful, detail-oriented traveler who appreciates comfort, cleanliness, and good service. I had a lovely stay at Candlewood Hotel. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff were helpful and friendly, and the location was convenient. I’d gladly come back.

The one thing this place has going for it is a kitchenette. Otherwise, this is probably the second worst hotel I’ve stayed in. The worst one had blood on the sheets when I walked into the room, so that’s the only reason this isn’t last. There’s basically no parking, and cars are left in the fire lane, including some that look abandoned. Trash covers the hallways, and the pile by the dumpster has been left so long it’s spilling into the lot. It even looks like people are peeing near the side entrance doors. In the room, the bathroom floor is falling apart, the water pressure is poor, the beds are bad, and the lighting is dim. When I checked in, they gave me a keycard for a room someone else was still occupying. How does that happen?
