Adventure Inn & Motel

We stayed here last year and booked again, but someone bought the place out and it's completely different now. They say on the website that breakfast is served, but it isn't. We paid $300, then were told there was no breakfast, which felt awful. We also didn't know there was a dark alley with rooms behind the hotel, and unfortunately that's where we were put. Our room slanted, the air conditioner sounded broken and was duct-taped to the wall, the bathroom was dingy and dirty, the fridge didn't work, and the shower curtain was disgusting. After a long road trip, I wanted somewhere cozy, but I felt completely uncomfortable instead. We had no parking. For the price, I don't suggest staying here.

Parking right outside the door made it super convenient to haul gear in and out for our park trips, and the stay was great value for Moab in peak season. We spent two nights at Adventure Inn, and everything worked perfectly in our spotless room. When a quieter room farther from the street opened up for our second night, the staff offered to move us without being asked. They were genuinely kind, check-in was quick and friendly, and they even gave us their personal number in case we needed anything. We'd absolutely stay again.

It's a nice little place, and the bed was comfy. The AC kept up with the summer heat, and we had a TV, table and chairs, microwave, and mini fridge. The parking lot is tight, so be prepared for that. I took off a star because our door didn't seal out the noise properly and was missing its bottom trim. After the first night, we stuffed towels under it to keep out the road noise. It looked like ours was the only room missing that trim.

The owner was really responsive during check-in and went out of his way to work with my group and our plans. The rooms were very clean both when we checked in and when we came back from activities. The AC handled the summer heat well, and the location was perfect for visiting Arches Natl. Park and going out on the town. Fantastic hotel!
