I ended up staying a few extra nights because this was such a good base for exploring. I was there during the second week of December, when crowds were light and it was easy to get around. I thought the weather was perfect, and the location was great for getting out to explore and play. Arches NP is spectacular from here, and we took day trips to the other parks and sights every day. The fairly new facility had nice, up-to-date rooms. Ours included a small kitchenette with a full-size fridge and sink. Staff were friendly and helpful. I also liked having breakfast: servers could make a couple of eggs if you wanted, and there was a protein option, bagels, toast bread, muffins, cereal, and some fruit.

I was there for a women's Conference. The room was clean and quiet, and breakfast was very good. The staff were polite and courteous, though it seemed they didn't have enough people working. Water containers were empty, trash bins were full, and coffee sat in the carafes from one day to the next. There wasn't a room pamphlet describing the hotel's amenities, and the information on the website wasn't accurate. Our door lock didn't work right either. It took three reprogrammings before we could get into the room.

The rooms were clean, modern, and enjoyable, with a great view, and breakfast was great too. Still, as someone who's been a Marriott guest for a long time, I won't return. After using the outdoor hot tub, I got rashes and eczema all over my body. That has never happened to me elsewhere. I suspect the tub may have been contaminated or far too heavily chlorinated.

Element Moab is just minutes from the entrance to Arches, which is handy, though it's a short drive from downtown Moab. The outdoor pool and hot tub have scenic views and are a nice way to unwind after visits to Arches or Canyonlands National Park. Free parking and WiFi, plus pet-friendly policies, are useful extras. The included breakfast offers fresh, varied choices, including made-to-order items and healthy options, and there are cookies in the evening. Staff are friendly and attentive, and cleanliness gets high marks. Rooms are spacious and thoughtfully designed, with full kitchenettes, large bathrooms, and plush Westin Heavenly Beds. Those pillows are legendary, soft but supportive enough for a deep sleep after hiking dusty trails. This modern, eco-conscious Marriott-affiliated hotel makes a good base for Utah's red rock country. There are occasional reports of inconsistent housekeeping during high season, but ratings across platforms are around 4.3-4.4 and it has Travelers' Choice status. For families, couples, or solo travelers looking for comfort without pretension, it offers good value. We'd happily stay again.

Hezielle served us all three nights and was sweet and attentive. When she overheard that it was our anniversary, she even brought us a free dessert. We were celebrating with a three-night stay in Moab, and overall it was a great experience. Having a bar and restaurant on site was convenient. Most of the food and drinks were very good, though we weren't fans of the calamari. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We barely used the gym after all our hiking, but it was clean and a good size for the hotel. The location was convenient for Arches National Park and not too far from the Needle in the Sky District. Our room felt clean overall, but the floors were a little sticky, the comforter had a stain, and the body wash was empty. Those were minor compared with the rest of the stay. We didn't mention them to the front desk, since we were mostly in the room to sleep and shower and had brought our own shower supplies. I'd recommend the place to anyone visiting the area.
