We’d driven all the way from Michigan and reached town a day before our weeklong booking elsewhere began. That place had no room for the extra night, so we found this hotel for a stopgap. Zayra S. was patient and helpful when we checked in. She mentioned she could accommodate us for the whole week, though I initially figured we’d stick with our other reservation and avoid losing the deposit and cancellation fee. Then we saw the room. It was standard hotel style, but really clean, with comfy beds, and the kitchenette was just what we needed for cooking. There was a full-size fridge with an ice maker, a two-burner glass cooktop, and a small sink. We went back to Zayra, and she followed through, extending our stay at a price that made it worth forfeiting the other deposit. We cooked in the room and used the hotel grill, which had grilling tools. Whenever we needed something, the front desk sorted it out, even real plates. Thanks to Zayra and the staff for making the trip easy. We’ll stay here next time we’re in the area, and I’d recommend it.

We were there for four nights, a couple from California with our 75-pound husky/lab. The room was a clean king room with a kitchenette, just as advertised, and faced the main road, with a beautiful view. Ask the desk for the kitchen tools, they’re free. The pool was heated enough for us to jump in on a 40-degree night, and the big jacuzzi, which fits six comfortably, stayed open until 11pm. Dogs cost 20$ per night plus a 50$ deposit. The rules felt pretty relaxed as long as your dog isn’t a yapper. There are two little trails beside the property for potty walks, though they’re rocky and a bit steep, and Lions Park is walkable for a longer outing. The room wasn’t cleaned every night, which suited us, but you have to request service by a certain time if you want it. The road-facing room got a little loud with the window open, though opening it was handy for airing the place out after cooking or with the dog. There’s coin laundry on site, and you can get coins at the front desk. Town’s main area is a five-minute drive. The main downside is having to ask for everything for the kitchen, and sometimes the desk staff were busy or away, so there was a wait. Everyone there was friendly, especially the woman whose name started with Z!

After eight days exploring the area, we were glad to have laundry that worked so well. Our room also had a full kitchenette, everything was in working order, and the bed was very comfortable. The pool and hot tub were clean, with an amazing view. It was easy to check in and out, and the staff were helpful. The location worked perfectly for us, just minutes from Arches and the scenic 128 drive, while staying out of central Moab’s heavy traffic. It was a perfect stay.

Zayra made check-in smooth and was a real standout. My husband and I came for a little getaway, and this was easily the best hotel we’ve stayed at. The room was immaculate, the staff were friendly, and we’ll definitely be back soon.

We loved the pool area, especially the view and the fact that the pool is wheelchair accessible. The hot tub was great after hiking, too. In the room, the full-size fridge and mini kitchen were a big help for keeping our sandwich supplies for visits to the parks. The hotel is right by Arches and Potash Road, and Canyonlands is easy to visit from there as well. It’s a simple five-minute drive into town for restaurants or takeout. We’d definitely stay again.
