Guest support responded when we reached out, and refunded the first night, so the price was good for Moab in peak season. We had arrived to find that the safari tent's sheets clearly hadn't been changed after the previous group. After calling the guest number, we moved to another tent, but it had bugs and a missing zipper. We had to leave it unzipped all night, which let moths and other things in. After the first night, support helped us move back to the original tent. The outdoor areas, kitchen, and shower house looked like they had been beautifully made, but were poorly maintained and stocked. Some guests were hogging the few supplies, the gas equipment had no instructions, and when guests took the lighters, we sometimes couldn't use it. Signs explaining where to return things would help. A lot of things seemed broken or missing.

The studio cabin has been perfect for our weeklong trip: clean, comfortable, pet friendly, and easy to arrange. It has a two burner cooktop, a full size walk-in shower, and a large mini-fridge that held the right amount of food for two people over our 8 nights. For adventure, the location is hard to beat. There's a bike wash with a Park Tool stand and hose by the office, under 3 minutes to Sand Flats Rec Area, about an hour up to the mountains, and less than 30 minutes to most popular 4x4 trails. It's quiet and private on the edge of town, yet under 5 minutes from downtown restaurants, adventure centers, and shops. 11/10. I won't stay anywhere else when I come back.

We stayed in a two bedroom cabin, which was a very comfortable way to recharge between hotels and camping. The other choices, lodge, glamping, and camping, looked great too. Communal areas included an indoor and outdoor kitchen and TV/rec space, plus baths and laundry, and everything we used was clean and comfortable. The location made it easy to explore the beautiful area, pick up groceries, and get essentials. Evenings were quiet, which made it easy to catch up on sleep after hiking and other long days out.

My daughter and I had booked a tent, but strong winds were expected that night, and Shawn, who we think was the owner, kindly moved us into a room to keep us safe. We really appreciated that caring, thoughtful gesture. This is just the kind of place you hope to find in Moab if you want to be close to nature. The whole property was clean and well organized, and you can feel the owners' care in it. Thank you for looking out for us and being so kind.
