The hotel itself is beautiful, with clean, high-quality rooms and lots of space. The dog walk along the Colorado Rive was unmatched, and both women at the front desk were pleasant and helpful. I’d happily recommend staying here, but I’d eat elsewhere. The “bistro” was the one letdown: low-quality, gas-station-level food at prices that were too high. We travel a lot, and this was the worst hotel food we’ve had. It didn’t match the rest of the property.

The room setup was the worst we’ve seen at a hotel in some time. There was no dresser or convenient place to keep things off the floor, so everything had to pile up on the couch. We’d also been moved from the Fair Field to the Spring field just an hour before we arrived, despite having booked a month ahead. There was only one nightstand with plugs, so my husband and I couldn’t both plug in our things, including our Cpap machines. Luckily he had a power strip. The refrigerator was running but didn’t keep anything cold, which was a real problem since my husband has type one diabetes and needs to store insulin in a working fridge. Room service did arrive on time and with the correct order, but there wasn’t a table to eat at, just a spot where everyone puts their feet. The adjoining room was also awful. A family with small children screamed, yelled, and slammed their bodies against the connecting door, and the adults in the room allowed the disrespectful behavior.

We spent tons of time in the pool and had plenty of room in the big parking lot. The breakfast was awesome, the hotel was incredibly clean, and everything smelled fresh and new. Staff were so friendly, and the location made it easy to get to trails. It was our first time in Moab, and we couldn’t have picked a better place.

The room listing said there’d be a double sofa bed, but what we got was a twin bed on the floor. We assumed the sofa converted, then at 11 pm went to set it up and found the twin instead, so my husband slept on it. The managers were horrible and lied to us. I called the manager right away. They said they’d fix the listing on Expedia, which meant they knew it was wrong. They also first offered a refund, then claimed they hadn’t offered one. I have nothing positive to say about this hotel. Avoid it if you can.

This place was heaven for the kids. They loved the waffles at the delightful continental breakfast, and there’s a heated pool with a waterfall and four hot tubs. We also grilled our own dinner by the pool on the hotel grill, a nice way to have something healthy after too many burgers. There’s ping pong and basketball too. Our room was big and awesome, with a living room and two TVs. The hotel sits by the edge of town, surrounded by red rock, so it’s easy to head out for adventures and still only about five minutes from town. We’d book again 100%.
