ULUM Moab

The tent had everything we needed, including a wood stove, space heater, AC, hot shower, and electricity. The room was cleaned daily and firewood replenished, and the bed with its heated blanket was very comfortable. Outside, we enjoyed the hot tub, cold plunge, firepits, and live music at the end of the day. The staff were outstanding and the food was excellent. It’s also well placed for Arches, Canyon lands, Goblin State park, and other outings. We even drove to Telluride, a beautiful 2.5-hour trip. We’ve stayed at plenty of tent-style places, and this one is near the top of our list. What a great stay.

We chose ULUM for a mini-moon after our wedding in Moab. The desert scenery and easy hikes around the property were lovely, and the food was excellent. I also really enjoyed the 90-minute massage in the cave. The staff were thoughtful and attentive and helped us unwind. For improvements, the mattresses could use replacing or toppers, and an adults-only lounge area would be nice.

The setting was beautiful, and we loved hiking to Looking Glass and climbing up to the opening. The tents were great and very comfortable, and the food was delicious. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. We also appreciated being within reach of so many major national parks. We had a fantastic time at ULUM Moab.

The restaurant and food were the best part of this glamping stay, sometimes even great. The tent was nice, but felt almost copied from the Under Canvas setup. Housekeeping is limited to taking out trash and fireplace ashes, so expect to ask for anything else. Staff seemed very focused on shuttling guests between the tents and the lobby or restaurant. Since the cars are parked a few hundred yards from the tents, rides feel essential. At least we didn’t wait long when we were far from the lobby. For me, it’s basically Under Canvas with somewhat better service and a good restaurant. I’d recommend paying half as much to stay in Moab town instead.
