We stayed in room # 104 on Sat., 1/10/26, my husband was traveling through to a work assignment in Florida. His company booked us from Texas, probably based on old photos. I added new photos because we won't stay here again. Unless they give certain guests a different set of rooms, the condition of this room was gross. The room smelled a little like cigarettes. The bedding was old, dingy, stained, and had holes that may have been from cigarettes or just age. The pillows smelled as if their cases hadn't been changed, and one had a pen mark, which made me question it further. Luckily, we had our own pillows and blanket. The toilet wouldn't flush properly, so the man at the front desk gave us a plunger. The shower didn't look clean, and its curtain was old and ragged. There was a hole in the wall, the bathroom door looked like it had been kicked in, and the towel bar was missing. The bathroom light switch was dirty with who knows what. These problems should be obvious to the owner, so the owner's surprise at complaints from others seems silly. If you decide to stay, at least avoid this room. The positive reviews are anonymous, while my profile is legitimate.

We booked through the Choice Hotels App, and the room photos online looked great. In person, it was awful. There was a cigarette butt on the floor in the supposedly non-smoking room. The comforter had THREE burn holes, and when we pulled the covers back, both the sheets and mattress pad were stained. We made them change everything. The front door was damaged, like someone had tried to kick it in, and I had to kill a spider. Never again.

The non-smoking room was old but clean, and the fridge, microwave, and AC all worked fine. We made a nonrefundable reservation through the members app while traveling. Twenty minutes later, the clerk called to ask whether we still wanted the room, even though hotels were filling up and we'd already prepaid. When we arrived, she got nasty about fees and tried to add more, calling them “additional taxes” when I challenged her. It's a basic hotel.

It was a hot, muggy July night in Mobile Alabama, and the room was miserable. The AC and TV both failed, it wasn't clean, and I killed a few bugs. The one-night total was $99.00. It would've sucked even at $15.00. I'd rather sleep in my car. Never again.

The staff are great, friendly, and professional. It's a quiet area close to the airport, with lots of restaurants nearby. I stay here whenever I'm in town visiting family. I smoke, so having smoking rooms was a plus for me.
