The room was nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable, but it all felt worn. The small bathroom made the age obvious, the fixtures were old, and water pressure was close to nonexistent. Breakfast felt like a roadside motel, served on paper and plastic, with only scrambled eggs. Housekeeping came only every second day. Once I found that out, I left and won't return. The building itself is rather old and run down. Look at the elevators or the open storage rooms. At reception, everyone seemed nice but uninformed, and I got wrong information, like being told I could charge everything at Bass Street Chop House to my room. I'm left wondering how some hotels get such good ratings. This is one of the worst places I've stayed recently.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was fine. Our room was great, especially the very comfortable beds. It was also easy to get anywhere we wanted to go.

The pool was small and dated, and the hot tub wasn't hot and didn't work. Still, we liked the location next to the Vibrant Arena for going to hockey games, and I'd stay again. The rooms were clean but dated, the service was very good, and the complimentary hot breakfast was good.

The staff were very nice, the location was good, and breakfast was excellent. The room was nice, but the bathroom needs updating. Wallpaper was peeling off, and the toilet kept running after each flush. It was too low, so it needs fixing and replacing with a taller one.

We had two rooms, and one was fine for the two nights. In our son's and granddaughter's room, the shower temperature control didn't work, swinging between scalding hot and cold, so they couldn't shower on departure day. We told the junior front desk employee at checkout and asked someone from management to contact us, but we never heard back.
