The kitchenette and full-size fridge were a nice surprise for the price. I stopped for one night on my way out from Big Bend, wanting to be near the Sandhills and eventually Big Spring. The room, linens, towels, shower, and toilet were all clean, and the shower had good pressure. The TV wouldn’t turn on, probably because the remote needed batteries, but the front desk man was friendly and likely would’ve helped if I’d asked. I’d stay again.

They were easygoing when we realized we’d booked the wrong day. The date was changed without extra booking and rebooking hassle or fees. It’s a clean, comfortable, private economy option with good customer service, and a really great deal for this area.

Sunny at the front desk was incredibly friendly and attentive, and probably one of the most accommodating hotel employees I’ve met. I was worn out after nearly two days on location and didn’t want to drive home, so the room did what I needed. Regular-size towels would’ve made the stay better. I’d definitely come back.

The kitchenette had everything I needed, and housekeeping paid close attention to our needs. I still have one more day at the Country Inn, but wanted to leave a review now. Sonny, the site manager, has been professional, helpful, and the friendliest manager I’ve encountered on my travels. Monahans Country Inn is a comfortable place to stay, and I definitely recommend it.

The detour paid off. I got a comfortable bed, a bathroom that suited the bedroom, and a mini kitchen with a full-size fridge. On a hot day, you can cool the room with the fan or the air conditioning. The front desk gentleman was friendly and gave me useful information about driving through the area. The price felt worth both the detour and the stay.
