Super 8 By Wyndham Monett

The room was terrific for my nine-day stay. The bed was so comfortable, the internet was great while I worked there, and I had fresh towels and a mini fridge with a separate freezer. It was extremely quiet at night. The only place that didn’t smell as fresh was the stairwells, and with dirty construction workers going up and down those cement stairs all the time, I can’t blame the hotel. That was a minor thing. The front doors, halls, and hotel all smelled amazing, and there’s now a heater in the halls that’s nice on early mornings. I’d read earlier reviews and was honestly shocked, since it felt like we’d stayed in different places. The manager and his wife were extremely accommodating and helped with my room request when I thought I was out of options. The manager is the nicest guy, with the biggest smile! Everyone was just as nice. The woman at the front desk greeted me when I came in, and Cassie was especially helpful, making several calls while I arranged my booking, room, and payment. Thank you! I rarely give five stars, and I’m a Hilton and Marriott rewards member, but neither was in this small town, so Super 8 by Wyndham was my only option. I loved the stay and will be back, probably asking for the same room. Thanks to the managers for taking such good care of me, and keep up the fantastic work!

The staff are amazing any time of day or night. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and spacious, and the hotel is conveniently close to shopping and dining. Great price, too.

Breakfast was decent, and the room was comfortable and clean. I was pleased with the stay, especially for the price.

I usually stay at Holiday Inns for work, but this is pretty much the only lodging in town, so I gave it a try. I’ve stayed twice now, and both times everything in the room worked. The facilities were clean and in pretty darn good condition, which pleasantly surprised me. There’s a nice recumbent bike trainer, a clean pool, and good coffee in the morning. Breakfast is very minimal, though it seemed good for a Super 8. This one was nicer than some Holiday Inn Expresses I’ve stayed in. There’s plenty of parking, including a couple of spots nearby for tractor trailers, but no elevator. The people are nice, and the mini fridge has a separate freezer. Bring bottled water to drink, since in my opinion the water in southern MO is nasty. Great value, and I highly recommend this Super 8.
