The grounds were beautifully kept, and despite being right by the road, it was almost silent and very peaceful. Our room had a fully furnished kitchen, an in-room laundry, and even a gas grill. We brought our own air fryer and Instant Pot. There’s also a game room, a small gym, and public fishing access across the street. A wonderful surprise, and I’ll be back. Laurie was fantastic when arranging my reservation. I needed a first-floor room near the pool that was accessible for me, though it didn’t need to meet ADA standards. The patio faced the parking lot, but it was easy to get people in and out of vehicles and the room. When I checked on my reservation the week before, Todd went out of his way to offer setting up our internet access early.

This is one of my favorite places for a staycation. It’s tucked at the end of the peninsula, quiet, and feels nicely removed from home. The units are spacious and well equipped, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. You can use the Shangrila resort restaurants, pickleball courts, and game room.

It’s very quiet here, and the golf course views are lovely. I think every room has a patio or balcony with a gas grill. The place has made me very happy so far. Getting luggage in and out is a bit of a hassle because of the stairs and ramps in the hallways, so using a cart would be difficult. Most things to do also take a bit of a drive.

The rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly. We did have trouble with the master bathroom toilet: its chain broke, and my handy husband jimmy-rigged it. Later that night it kept running, so he had to fix it again. The lights in the front bathroom were blinking. A couple of suggestions: clean the windows at the building entrances, since first impressions matter, and pull the many weeds from the parking lot planters. Those affect the first impression too.
