Plum Tree Inn

The outside looked run down, like it hadn't been updated since the 1970s, but our two rooms were huge, clean, and fresh-smelling at first. Once the linens were changed, though, they smelled like smoke. The beds were comfortable. The comforter was paper-thin and didn't provide much warmth. Air conditioning cooled the rooms quickly, which helped during the week we stayed, when it was in the 80s. Both rooms had dorm-sized fridges that kept our drinks cold. One room's microwave didn't work, while the one in the other room worked well. There's no breakfast, just lukewarm coffee, which was fine for free. WAWA is across the street for coffee, drinks, and snacks, but take care crossing four lanes of traffic. McDonald's won't deliver there through DoorDash, though Burger King will. I prefer BK over MCD. A Wal-Mart Supercenter is a few minutes away for supplies if you're staying more than a few days.

For the price, it's about what you'd expect. Nothing fancy, but not bad either. It was clean, though a bit worn around the edges.

The room was really clean, cozy, and peaceful every time. It feels like a high-end hotel at a decent price, and it's the best place in the area.

I went in expecting very little, but check-in was easy and the room was spotless. The linens looked brand new, and the bathroom had what looked like updated tile and granite counters. It was a really nice, comfortable stay, and I'll definitely return.
