The room was a pleasant surprise for the price. It was clean and well kept, with crisp pressed sheets and a comfortable bed. We got in late after driving from MA to NC, and the clerk was friendly when checking us in. We’d stay again if we pass through this area.

The beds were comfortable, but the place felt outdated. The next morning I woke up covered in painful, itchy bumps. By the day after, they were blistering. I’m very allergic, and there were a lot of them. I believe they were bed bug bites, so I can’t recommend staying here. I also found rodent droppings in a drawer, which should have been a warning, and there were many people living at the property. I like supporting small businesses, but they need to give guests a reason to return. I won’t be back. Spend a little extra for somewhere nicer. It felt like they were only after the money.

The person who handed us the keys was very nice, and the room, bathroom, and sheets were clean. But the door was broken, the AC didn’t work, and the place looked clean but seriously outdated. The area made us uneasy, and the whole property reminded us of somewhere from a movie where people get kidnapped or something bad happens. My husband and I had booked last minute for a visit to NY, and this was the only place available. Even though we’d paid, we decided to drive home because we just didn’t trust it.

I’d absolutely stay here again, and the shower was the best I’ve had at any hotel. The room was spotless and warm, with a super comfortable bed. I was visiting from out of town when my vehicle broke down, leaving me stranded on a very cold night with nowhere to go. The owners and staff went out of their way to help and accommodate me. They were lifesavers, and the price was incredibly affordable. Thank you so much!
